We've had a passion for the written word since 1982, when under the continued guidance and patronage of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, the UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah; The Department of Culture & Information, wrote the first chapter of The Sharjah International Book Fair.

This 10-day annual event now draws a total of 750 publishers showcasing books from nearly 42 nations, and attracts over 400,000 GCC visitors more...
